Hammock Cover Features
Preserve the life of your hammock and save bringing your hammock inside each day with this convenient hammock protection cover. The plastic cover fully encases your hammock when not in use keeping your hammock protected from sun, rain and humidity.
Simply run one end of the cover through the hammock before hanging, then slide the cover across the length of the hammock when it is not in use. Made from 100% weather resistant material.

A simple and easy way to keep your hammock safe until the next time you are relaxing in it. For enhanced longevity, we recommend storing both cover and hammock inside over winter.

Suitable for all non-bar style hammocks including our double, queen, king thick cord hammocks. Not suitable for spreader bar and resort style type hammocks.
We provide fast free delivery New Zealand wide on all orders (the only exceptions to this being off-shore deliveries to Chatham and Stewart Island and hammock stands to Waiheke Island which may incur additional delivery charges. Please contact us to discuss.)
All stock is held on hand in Hamilton and dispatched daily via courier delivery service for orders received prior to 2 pm (working days).
Delivery Guidelines
Our delivery guidelines are as follows;
- North Island; 1-2 business days* (usually next business day for all major centres, e.g. order Monday receive Tuesday).
- South Island; 1-3 business days* (usually the second business day, e.g. order Monday, receive Wednesday).
- Rural Areas; May incur an extra 1-2 days to deliver.
- *Please note; Please note our delivery guidelines can be affected by peak delivery periods such as the Christmas season and we recommend ordering early over these times.
Tracking Information
Once your order is packaged and ready for dispatch or upon collection by the courier you will be sent an email confirmation along with tracking details where applicable.
If your parcel has not arrived within the delivery guidelines then please check the tracking information you have been provided by email. Often delivery has been attempted but no-one was home to sign for it. If this shows on the track and trace page or for further info then please contact the applicable carrier. The customer service team can check up on your package status in more detail and can organise a redelivery or advise you of your nearest depot to collect if necessary. Any problems please contact us and we'll be happy to help sort it out for you.
Delivery Providers
We use various courier delivery service providers with our main preference being NZ Post and Post Haste. Other companies may be used at our discretion when more suitable.
*For most hammock stands due to size and weight restrictions Aramex will be the main delivery company used. For the wooden hammock stands, Aramex will be exclusively used due to being the only carrier to accept the package dimensions of this item (>2m) and delivery is only available on this product to urban addresses.
Please note - a signature is usually required on delivery, so please provide a daytime occupied address for delivery or instructions for leaving unattended packages. If you have a PO Box/Private Bag address - we may ask that you please provide an alternative physical address if suitable as courier services and some larger items are unable to be delivered to these. To change your delivery address post-purchase please just email us ASAP with updated delivery details.
Please be aware if you select authority to leave (ATL) as your delivery option when checking out, your order becomes your responsibility once delivery has been made to your address. Mexican Hammocks Ltd will not be liable for theft or negligence as the result of this delivery option being selected. Of course we'll do our best to help where possible should issues arise.
Peak Times
During peak times courier delivery delays can occur due to increased workloads and any quotations of delivery times by the Mexican Hammocks Store are made in good faith but are estimates only and the Mexican Hammocks Store shall not be bound by such quotation. As such if purchasing at peak times such as Christmas it pays to order a little earlier.
Saturday Delivery
Standard courier delivery services operate on a Monday - Friday basis. For an additional $5 per small package, we can provide a Saturday delivery option to most New Zealand cities and towns for orders placed prior to 2 pm Friday for North Island addresses and prior to 2 pm Thursday for the South Island addresses. To check the eligibility of your address please visit; http://www.posthaste.co.nz/address_checker.html. To place an order for Saturday delivery please contact us prior or directly after ordering via email or phone on 021 123 8963.
Please note, this is generally only available for smaller satchel size items such as non-bar Mexican hammocks, hoodies, blankets, masks and the like.
Pickup
Pickup and product viewing options are available by appointment from Ngāhinapōuri, Hamilton. Please contact us to schedule a pickup time, viewing or for more details.
International Shipping
For delivery to Australia orders up to a total weight of 2.99kg are available for direct shipping and the following options can be selected when checking out (prices are subject to change);
$30 - International Courier (3-10 working days for delivery)
For orders from 3-3.5kg the shipping cost is $55 for the above service.
Delivery to countries outside of New Zealand and Australia is available on certain products and shipping prices for items up to 1.9kg are;
$70 - International Courier - Tracked 3-10 Working Days
If the item you wish to purchase for international delivery is not covered by existing shipping options please reach out with information on the item you would like to purchase and your delivery address and we'll return back to you with a quote promptly.
Any associated international import duties/taxes will be at the purchaser's cost and responsibility.
